In partnership with Fraport Slovenija, we invite BSCC members to a special visit to Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport to celebrate the launch of a new direct flight connection between Ljubljana and Edinburgh operated by easyJet.
The route further expands easyJet’s UK network from Ljubljana. With existing flights to London Gatwick and the addition of Manchester in November 2025, the airline will introduce a new connection to Edinburgh on 1 April 2026 for the summer season, strengthening transport, business, and tourism links between Slovenia and the UK.
To mark the occasion, participants will have the opportunity to watch the arrival of the first flight from Edinburgh from the observation deck and welcome its crew, and passengers. The program will also include a cultural moment with a performance on traditional Scottish bagpipes.
We will continue our visit with a guided tour of the Ljubljana Airport, and conclude it with informal networking over coffee and light refreshments.
Please note that the number of participants is limited due to airport security regulations. Registration is open until 26 March, or until all available places are filled. The event is free of charge and open exclusively to BSCC members.
