Trade and Investment Council

 

A stable, transparent, and competitive business environment is essential for attracting investment and supporting long-term economic growth. The British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce works to strengthen Slovenia’s attractiveness for both foreign and domestic investors through active policy dialogue and advocacy, focusing on areas such as regulation, taxation, infrastructure, and overall ease of doing business.

To support this, we have established a unified Trade and Investment Council, bringing together a combined focus on investment and cross-border trade between the United Kingdom and Slovenia.

The Council focuses on:

  • improving the conditions for investment and addressing barriers that affect business growth in Slovenia,
  • providing companies with practical market advice, insights, and access to trusted business contacts,
  • supporting companies entering or expanding in the UK and Slovenian markets,
  • informing members on relevant regulatory developments and trade frameworks.

By strengthening both the investment climate in Slovenia and trade links with the UK, the Council supports a more competitive and internationally connected business environment.
