Starting on 26 October 2026, easyJet will launch a new direct air connection between Ljubljana Airport and London Luton, operating three times weekly. The new route represents another important step in improving connectivity between Slovenia and the United Kingdom.

With the addition of London Luton, passengers will now be able to fly directly from Ljubljana to five destinations in the United Kingdom: London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Luton, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

The United Kingdom remains an important partner for Slovenia in tourism, business, investment, and trade. Improved air connectivity therefore plays an important role not only in supporting tourism flows, but also in strengthening economic cooperation and business mobility between the two countries.

For Slovenian companies, particularly at a time when many are looking to diversify internationally and expand into new markets, easier access to the UK creates additional opportunities for business development, partnerships, and cross-border cooperation.
